Incorporation of Piemonte Trading, headquartered in New York, USA. In 2013, Piemonte founded a NY-based company that now manages the Group’s assets and operates as an Investment Advisor that complies with SEC regulations (Securities and Exchange Commission).
As a financial advisor, Piemonte Investments executed $500 MM BRL in transactions, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Debt Restructuring, working in an exclusive fashion.
Piemonte used its own resources to acquire DSAPAR SA and became Piemonte Holding. After this acquisition, the Group’s cumulated capital stock reached $40 million BRL.
Piemonte launched Alba Fund, a series of hedge funds that address a wide range of investors, among them, Piemonte Holding, the first investor client.

Julia Dias Leite, President of the board of directors of Piemonte Holding, has been working in International Affairs for the past 15 years and represents the international DNA of Piemonte Holding.
Throughout her career, she has worked as the director of some of the most important independent Foreign Affairs Institutions in Brazil, which allowed her to build a strong network with representatives from the private sector, government offices, and official organizations in Brazil and abroad, especially in South America, the United States and Asia. She participated in international foreign affairs exchange programs and hosted global influencers during their visits to Brazil to exchange knowledge on the economy, worldwide integration and technology.
Since 2016, she's been working as the Executive Director of the Brazilian Center for Foreign Affairs (CEBRI - Centro Brasileiro de Relações Internacionais), the main Brazilian think tank. Prior to that, she acted as the Executive Secretary of the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC - Conselho Empresarial Brasil China), consolidating the Council's position as the main binational institute dedicated to establishing a dialog between the two countries in production, financial, and governmental matters.
She went to Law School at Cândido Mendes University and has an MBA in Business Management, having collaborated with the Council of the Americas in New York as a researcher and supported the office of the Vice President of that institute in projects involving Brazilian foreign policies.
In 2017, she represented Brazil at the International Visitor Leadership Program, an event organized by the U.S. Department of State across the United States.

Ever since Piemonte was a startup, Lombardi had a leading role in growing the business from a small financial consulting group into a solid and independent financial institution with a global reach and operations overseen by financial authorities. Since 2014, he has been acting as Fund Manager at Piemonte Trading Corporation, the Group’s Asset Manager Entity, and has managed to yield well above-average returns to investors.
Before founding Piemonte Holding, Lombardi worked for over a decade for PwC in Rome, Italy, and São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, where he created and directed the Transaction Services and Corporate Finance areas. He has also worked as a Technical Senior Advisor in a large amount of M&A transactions alongside both multinational clients and family businesses with the use of his deep knowledge and vast experience in negotiation processes, deal structuring, due diligence, valuation and financial investigation in Europe, the United States, and Brazil.
Alessandro holds a degree in Economics from the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and has completed higher-education courses at UCLA, the Bologna Academic Institute of Theology, and the University of Turin.
Eduardo Marinho Cristoph is an investor and entrepreneur who, since 2002, has held a seat in several Boards of Directors in companies established in Brazil and abroad. Nowadays, other than board member of Piemonte Holding, he is the President of the Board at ENE Venture Capital, a Participation Holding focused in businesses with expansion potential in areas such as technology, innovation, sustainability, agritech and biotechnology, in seed, early and late stages.
For the past 15 years, Eduardo has been working as an investor and board member of Cognitec Systems, a global company dedicated to facial recognition technologies that is headquartered in Dresden, Germany, and has offices in the United States and Australia. He has also been an investor and member of the Board of Directors of PrimaSea (premium fertilizers) and NuPrime (organomineral nutrients). Between 2006 and 2011, he was a member of the Board of Trustees at Infoglobo, which was founded in 1925 and is currently one of the largest multimedia companies in Brazil.
He graduated in Physics at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC) in Rio de Janeiro in 1998 and, early in his academic career, worked for the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois - the national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy - contributing to one of the key projects in the study of the interactions among fundamental matter particles and energy, which became a benchmark in high-energy particle physics worldwide.
There are currently two directors at Piemonte Holding that work closely together with the management team.
As the Administrative Director of Piemonte Holding, Marco Girardi has brought in his vast experience as a senior executive working in financial and management areas in multinational corporations. He is the Head of Administration, Finance, and Controls at Piemonte.
Girardi worked as a business executive at Grupo Telecom Italia for 14 years while based in Rome, Turin, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. He was the CFO of the Telecom Italia holding in Brazil and served as the Administrative and Financial Director at Telecom Italia America Latina in Brazil and Telecom Italia S.p.A. in Turin.
At the same time, Marco Girardi was part of the Board of Directors of companies located in South America, most of them listed in the stock exchange.
Nathalie manages Piemonte´s Financial Services area.
Graduated in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business, Nathalie has a master in Finance and Business Economics by Fundação Getúlio Vargas do Rio de Janeiro
She began his career at UBS in New York, worked at the Serficom Family Office and Pacifico Gestão de Recursos.
Claudio Cornetti is the Legal Officer of Piemonte Holding.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Cláudio joined Piemonte in January 2015 and has previously worked for Gouvêa Vieira Advogados and XP Investimentos, where he acquired a Backoffice BM&FBovespa Certificate.
Alan started his career at Piemonte in 2019 as an intern and currently serves as Financial Analyst.
He has a CPA-20 certificate and is completing his degree in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio)
The beginning of his career was in the Operational Risk Department of Banco BOCOM BBM, where he stayed for 1 year.
José Arian serves as Senior Financial Analyst at Piemonte.
Bachelor of Accounting from Rio de Janeiro Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), has three years of experience in the Financial Services area at the big-four KPMG Auditores Independentes.
Victor joined Piemonte in 2019 as a Financial Analyst.
He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Louisiana College, is currently member of Delta Mu Delta International Honors Society in Business and holds an MBA in Financial Management by Fundação Getúlio Vargas do Rio de Janeiro.
He began his career working in financial due diligence at Ernst & Young for over a year and later for another year at PwC.
Rafael Sol acts as Administrative Assistant of Piemonte Holding.
Studying Economics at the Universidade Federal of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), began his career at Piemonte in 2017 as an intern in the Asset Management and Financial Services areas. He was hired in 2019.
He previously worked for two years with economic studies at Federação das Indústrias do Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN).
Ana Beatriz serves as Executive Secretary at Piemonte Holding.
Starting her career as an intern at CEAs (Study Center of the Americas), worked for seven years at Citibank, where she gained experience in administrative / financial area through the companies: Estácio de Sá University, DM9RIO, Pinelli Advogados, Chaim XYZ and CEBRI (Brazilian Center for International Relations).
She holds a bachelor of Business Administration from Universidade Candido Mendes (UCAM - Centro).
Renato Brito acts as Administrative Assistant of Piemonte Holding
Graduated in Business Administration from Estácio de Sá University (UNESA), has the registration CRA - Regional Council of Administration.
He worked for 10 years at Klefer Marketing Esportivo, starting as Project Analyst and later as a Sports Supervisor. Also has experience of 5 years in Operations at Ágora Investimentos and 3 years in the Billing department at Intelig Telecom S.A.
